About Kat

 I have always had an affinity to do crafts including sewing, making cards for all occasions.. but have always enjoyed working with Clay. Although not a qualified Potter I enjoy what I do which is relaxing, calming and allows the stress of the day to melt away through the manipulation of the clay. 

 When I moved to France I realised that I missed the teaching and the sharing of knowledge so what better way to get my fix of teaching and to combine it with doing what I love, so sharing the joy it brings myself with you.  Now having been open since June 2021 I have been able to welcome you to the craft of pottery. 

 We have different classes that you can attend depending on your ability or time. 

Covering  Wheel: The basics of Centring clay. 

How to Throw a simple Cylinder.  

Non Wheel: Coiling. Hand building. Slab work. 

How to make pinch pots, cups bowls.. just to name a few.  

We aim to give you an escapism from the world around us to a session (Morning /Afternoon or Evening) of creativity, of fun and laughter. 

There will be a refreshment break with home produce.
